This is a new extension of my recent post regarding a week-long battle with my '67 122 wagon. Key broke off in ignition and stub refuses to come out and cylinder refuses to turn to ON position which would cure my problem because I could then remove the whole cylinder.
I think I've tried everything including, most recently, dental picks to try to pull old stub out. It will move out about a sixteenth of an inch but that's all. At one time I could get a pair of long nose on it and get a good pull, but something has it hung up.
If anyone has succeeded in drilling out the cylinder I'd like to hear about their experiences. Or any other tips. I don't have to rely on the car but I hate to push it into it's winter storage spot and have to look forward to dealing with this next Spring.
??
Thanks for listening,
