ok, hello all... I have a bit of a high idle problem here. I have an '89 244 so the idle adjustment knob isn't on the intake... all I have is the red and blue adjustment screw on top... I can adjust it but thanks to the CIS whatever change I make is temporary. My Bentley book mentions the CIS testing terminal, to ground it and then adjust as needed... I cannot bind any blue-white wire in my engine compartment on the driver's side against the strut tower.. I don't know if I am just blind or if the 2.4 systems were that different. Anyways, My throttle body does not stop at the stop plate, it stops maybe like a centimeter before it, and if I do put it down to the plate, it will idle to where I want it. Once I hit the throttle, it will go back to just being barely away from that stop plate. I would like to get this taken care of quickly so any advice is appreciated.
