Halloween day I felt myself coming down with a fever and a stomach thing at work 32 miles from my house. Almost made it home when suddenly I started sweating and feeling really bad. Should have pulled over and waited but since I was a couple of miles from my house drove on. Passed out driving down the street and thankfully by the grace of the lord only hit a tree and it was most dead center. Woke up to a group of good Samaritans and 1 cop who was convinced I was a drug addict who passed out from that. Ended up at the hospital because of the fainting and Inga ended up in a towing yard. My only injury caused by the wreck is an epic painful bruise across my chest from the seatbelt and a minor cut on my finger.
The wrecker driver brought Inga to my house yesterday and told my wife that this sort of accident would have totaled 99% of the cars on the road but this one was not. Inga needs a new front end, grill, bumper, hood, and evaporator. The rest is all good and the wrecker driver drove her off the wrecker and parked her. My aftermarket Ecodes may be be able to be saved! Well that cop who though I was on something did pretty much pull out every thing in the car and scatter it looking for something. He did find my allergy medication and question me about that.
When I was at the hospital I told the wife I was about to flood ebay with gauges, cargo cover, wheels, tow hitches, and anything else I could pull off her to raise funds. Inga was liability only, the insurance helps with the injury and tow only. I was pretty sure based on how hard I hit that my 245 days were over when they were running all those test on me.
Now I am plotting replacing the entire front end, upgrading the AC and putting her back on the road. After I can stand up and tie my own shoes of course without winching in pain of course.
Thank the lord those Swedes made my old girl so tough and Inga and I were the only ones hurt.

Regards,
Paul
