Hey, have a set of questions about the appropriate valve "lash" ? after having valves adjusted.
1) What is the minimum clearance required between the Follower and Lobe of the cam?
2) Is it safe/appropriate to have a lobe (intake) that only allows a .0015 in. feeler gauge barely pass under in a couple spots on the lobe's rotation?
All other valves have about a .009 in. gap between Lobes and Followers. I don't want to get the car back together and have the valves messed up due to the distance being too close!
