My second 940 (a 95) has square teeth on the sprockts.
Now, either the last people changed the sprokets over to the old style because they had a personal issue with a superior belt design (not likely), the engin was swapped (I belive it for my 94 as it sat in a mech yard for 6 years before being resurected, likely with a donated engine), or some were made with the old tooth design in different factories.
Have others noted the wrong teeth on the newer 940's? My current ride was an old people car, and the car fax bore out the facts, that the odometer only had 104k two years ago (now 138k), it runs great, engine seems to run smoother than my old high millage one's I had previously.....Can't believe it would have needed to be replaced at such low mialage.
Well, anyone that makes a donation to the brickboard, and requests it, I have two round tooth timing belts, I'll send them to the first one free.....I don't need them, my next 940 will likely still have square teeth with my luck.....
