I thought I'd re-soldered a fuel-pump relays before but tried recently and apparently ruined an OD relay and a fuel-pump relay. I assume I flowed solder where between two connections that shouldn't touch.
I remembered this being an easy job - a little heat from low on a dual-range gun and there it was. This time it seemed difficult to control the heat: I tried tinning the gun tip but this added too much
So, what's the trick: what kind of gun? Add solder or flow what's there? Flux?
