I recently decided to replace the engine in my 95 960, which has been sitting since the timing belt broke a few years ago. the swap went pretty well, right up to the point that I attempted to start it, and found that there was no pulse to the fuel injectors, and no spark from any of the coils.
of course my first thought was the crank, and cam position sensors, so I replaced both, and checked the continuity between the sensors and the ECM, but still, no luck. I've also replaced the ignition relay, fuel pump relay, fuel system relay, motronic ECM, and engine wiring harness.
It's worth noting that while the car was sitting, there was a flood in my area, and the car did get quite a bit of water inside, however there was no battery in it to cause a short of some kind.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
