Fuse #7 is blowing.....arggghhh!!! Help!

Hey all,

92 240gl sedan that's driving me insane. Decided to replace the rear tail light because it was cracked and then I noticed a burnt pin on the connector(left side) Now my problem seems to have migrated to the front of the car. I can disconnect both lights and step on the brake and the fuse blows. But sometimes it doesn't blow at all and I can shift freely. I've done a few searches and wondered if it might be the bulb sensor or the brake switch?
