B20 Distributor 444-544

Howdy all.

Well, it took a while (two months), but I finally got the new B20 dialed in. No longer am I cursing my new motor and threatening to sink it to the bottom of the ocean. Now I remember why I undertook this project in the first place, and I'm finally happy with the choice. Would you know, the only way I could get good high rpm combustion and good idle was to use both the restricted crankcase breather intake nipple AND a pcv valve. Anyway...

I run an old-school Bosch vacuum advance distributor a Pertronix ignition upgrade that I harvested off my old B18. I've opened it up and cleaned and lubed it. But here's the thing... the timing still bounces around. Not much you can do about worn shafts, I suppose. Also, the advance curve doesn't exactly match the profile of the burn rate inside the ported B20F heads.

Any recommendations for aftermarket distributors?

Cheap is great. Quality is good. I don't need a bunch of different advance curve options... just one that works. Oh, and it's for a daily driver. No racing curves needed. Just want to drop it in and go.

Thanks in advance! (Ha ha)
