Hi,

1988 740 turbo wagon: b230ft engine, manual trans. (m46), lh 2.2.

My fuel guage reads just under 1/2 tank, (that means something right?). The guage has not worked for over a year when I had to do a fix on the sending unit. I thought I did everything correct the first time and I just finished putting in a new fuel pump strainer, thought I did everything correct agiain but guage still reads a little under 1/2 tank.

Any ideas, help, etc. are appreciated,
