All,
I changed the badly pitted points in my 71 142, gapped them per specs and what people told me here, changed rotor, cap and condenser and retimed and changed the idle speed. The car runs like a champ.

But I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on changing to one of the electronic ignition kits out there -- Pertonix? Better mileage? More power? What's the advantage?
