Diesel Motor Mount on gas engine. Not Sure if it's me or not 200

I bought the Diesel Passenger side motor mount many months ago figuring that when I need to do Mounts again I would try the tougher Diesel mount.
I really feel it is stiff. Have any of you who have done this swap notice much more vibration in the seat of you pants?
One more addition that may have someting to do with the Vibration ... I put a metal can down the Mount to keep the Oil filter oil off the mount. The Can is between the upper bracket and the mount. It covers all but the last 1/8th" of the mount. I didn't want the metal can to contact bioth the upper bracket and lower bracket knowing that metal on metal on metal would have the feel of a solid motor mount. I wonder if this snuggly fitting can is giving me this result of a vibration or if that's just the nature of the diesel mount.
