Well I've done a lot of work the last two months to get my 87 240 back on the road. Endless list of parts from the pull-a-part have rescued a 240 that sat in my driveway for almost 8 years. One of the last jobs left is to fix the leak on the engine coming from the head gasket. I've don'e lots of work on my car but I'm no mechanic. I successfully changed the timing belt a few weeks ago, but that's the closest I've come to really digging into an engine. My question is what is the difficulty of changing the head gasket so I don't have any more oil leaks or should I just add some oil every once in a while and deal with the small oil leak?
