I am readying to install a set of turbo sway bars in my 245, which currently has the smaller ones. At ~1/4 the cost of the IPD ones it seemed like a no-brainer for a daily driver. looking at them I wonder if there is any logic to welding a triangular plate at the bends to make the connection between the mounting point and bar more stiff? OR, cutting the end off my old bars and spot welding them to the turbo ones to bulk-up the whole? (obvious this would present mounting issues). I've searched the web and found no precedent for this so maybe my concept is flawed.
