aftermarket seat heaters 200 1983

I bought a pair of seat heaters, The instructions states that they need a constant 10 amps. I was thinking of using the #10 fuse, power windows. I do not have power windows. Would this fuse work? Also, the #10 fuse is a 16 amp. can i keep this or lower it to a 10 amp or somewhere in between?
