I'm having my '92 245DL ac converted from R12 to R134a. I acquired from FCP the ac conversion kit. There is a concern with the J-pipe end that threads onto the pipe that passes through the firewall. It would seem that the thread sizes are not the same between the J-pipe nut and the firewall pipe. The difference could be so small that connecting the two ends is difficult leaving one to wonder. Has anyone else experienced this same issue with the conversion kit?
