Plug wire replacement 200

'85 245 non turbo.

I had a loss of power issue the first of this week. I finally got time today to check her out.

Started with checking my plug wires.....2 of them were broken off just above the spark plug clips....chalky plug tips....looked bad.

Anyway....no one has plug wires locally (fit to the car). I've got to have transportation by noon tomorrow. Several places have "generic" sets where the clip has to be crimped,

Will using those just not work? Need some help ASAP.
