Dimmer switch hi/lo puzzle 200

Okay,

The ALL lights are burning, no bulb out messages or anything. The high/low beams work, but:

I can pull the hi/lo switch to hi and the hi beams come on. When I dim them they dim. BUT when I try and pull the switch to go back to hi, they do not go to hi and stay like they are supposed to, they only go to hi if I HOLD the switch back (pulled towards me).

But then, if I wait a few minutes and try and pull the switch to go back to hi...they will go to hi again and stay on properly, but as soon as I dim them and go back to hi, I get the same results as above.

Intermittent hi/lo failure. Relay/switch/big red bulb out relay?

Help please.
