alternator belt replacement 1990 240 200

My 1990 volvo 240 wagon shredded it's alternator belt. I have the new belt and have loosened the tenisioner nut and the nut below on the alternator so the alternator is loose. I believe the belt goes in the outside track of the alternator is that right? But because The belt is completely gone I don't know what other pulley it goes to and what track it goes on. Does anything else have to come off in order to properly place the belt?
