No Spark Stall Mystery 200

Hi Folks,

My brick up and died today while driving. Quick look revealed a no spark condition.

I had just installed a new CPS and tested all the other major ignition parts two days ago (ignition module, ECU, coil). No spark. Let it sit. No spark. After about an hour suddenly the car starts. ???

So what would cause an intermittent no spark stall? Something overheating?

Could the ECU develop a short?
Will the ignition module fail when it gets too hot?

I have backup ignition module and ECU parts which I may swap in just to swap in...

Thanks for any info.
