Oil leak frustration aka: Exxon Valdez Jr. 200 1992

Just changed the oil on the new to me '92 240 sedan with a Mann oil filter. After a test drive from doing some other service items, I found a good size wet spot of oil on top of the PS motor mount under the oil filter. I removed, cleaned the mess and the top of the filter (which had an intact gasket)reseated the filter and after a 1 mile run found the same oil leak on top of the MM. I removed, cleaned the side of the block, removed and replaced the oil pressure sensor making sure that wasn't the culprit and again with another new Mann filter got another leak on top of the MM. No leaks from the new valve cover gasket. It all seems to be coming from under the oil filter. All oil pan bolts around that area are dry except for the drippage from above. When I had removed the original oil filter, there were NO leaks and all was nice and dry. I'm afraid to drive this any distance with worries of this leak. Car is nice and dry everywhere else.....Suggestions PLEASE!!!
