Girling caliper rattle 700

87 745T 5spd-598K (not kms) new one piece rotors and hubs-new pads- calipers recent rebuild-brackets are worn where slider pins fit. 271-854-2 kit is no longer available according to FCP. Pins are not hardened steel so I knurled them with a chisel and prick punch. I know this is a temporary fix so wondering if there are better ideas out there?
