Sudden stall - no start 200 1991

Our '91 240 (300K+miles) suddenly stalled while idling at a stop light yesterday.

Starter wouldn't turn over. Emergency flashers worked, power windows very slow, belts all look good, as do fuses.

I know this could be one of a dozen things, but looking for your suggestions.

Thanks for any advice.
