All three brake lights non-op 200 1990

So the 240 DL sedan that let sit for about 18 months and I am now donating to family in need has popped up what appears to be a common problem based on a search here. All three brake lights are not working. This car leaves for 10 hour drive tomorrow AM so have to fix this asap.

I pulled the fuse, cleaned the contacts and replaced with a known good fuse from another location. Nothing.

Quickly pulled off both wires at the brake light switch and jumpered them together...nothing (forgot to note which went where but I assume it should not matter). I did this with key off but I am 90% sure the brake lights should have been lit regardless.

I will do real troubleshoot tonight but want to make sure I have my order right:

Test for power (12+V or test light) on the right side of fuse #7

Use a test light to check for proper operation of the brake light switch on the "double" wire at the switch (should be blue with red stripe)

Use a test light to check for power after the bulb failure sensor (Pin or wire color?)

After that there is no real common issue that I can see. I sounds like I either still have a fuse issue or the bulb out sensor needs resoldering or replacing.

Did I miss anything?
