1983 242 TI with Auto high idle 200 1983

Hello, I have a 1983 242 TI Group A with a Automatic. I let the car sit for a couple of months and went to drive it and found that it had a high idle. When I initially started it I might only be at 1000-1100 RPM, however once I drive it even the slightest distance and put it in park it wants to idle at 2000. Driving it is rough to as it seems like I need to ride the brake. What gives? It was fine when I parked it? LOL famous last words. I looked under the hood and I did not see anything too obvious with vacuums lines or anything. Where should I start? Thanks, Nick.
