I'm gradually working through many things with this car.
It has a history of bad starting which I won't go into right now.
I would just like to know if the alternator is charging enough for this thread.
I get 13.1 volts max with engine running measured at the battery .[Revving makes no difference.] It doesn't seem enough to me.
My Peugeots and most other cars go above 14 volts.
I haven't connected directly to the alternator outputs yet as it's a bit tricky to achieve. But I'm wondering if the ECU or something else controls the output to this level? I have a spare I can drop in if we think there should be more 'goomers'.
