140 hood scoop opinion 140-160

So im having a possible bad idea moment, wanted to get opinions... Thinking bout mounting a functional OEM 68 69 camaro SS hood scoop (measures 18 x 5), the chrome one with 4 square holes, theres a pair on that hood. Do you think that scoop would look good on far(ish) right side of 72 140 hood, later mounting one on left side to balance the look? I wanted to make scoops so that i can close them underneath when raining. I dont know just how rare these hoods are, so i dont know if i should add scoop, but i think it will work well & look good on this car. Ill try to load a pic of one on my profile as i cant to seem to make it happen here
