240 dl wagon just won't start! 200 1986

I can crank on it all day and it won't start till I give it a squirt of starter fluid. It runs fine after that, but won't start again without a squirt. Tried unhooking amm, but it don't start without squirting, so that didn't help me any. Replaced temp sending unit, coolant temp sw, sprayed carb cleaner around Sgt., and vac lines, and (lh2.2) injectors. No choke or cold start injector, so what could it be? I'm at my mechanical capacity with this
