not much heat 444-544

i have a 62 544 and am going to keep driving this in winter, am trying to get some heat thru the defrost but it seems minimal, is this right? I wouldt think that the swedes wouldn't have a puny heater I have taken most everything apart and it seems clear, am I missing something or is this it, thanks 2tired in idaho
