All new 2017 S90 T6 Inscription - A short test ride

Hi All,

 photo 20161212_190039_zpspnnnohgi.jpg

Last winter, I stopped at a new Volvo dealership in Flushing, NY and test drove a top of line S90 T6 for fun. The young salesman was eager to show me the car inside out. It was perfect because I was so curious about the S90. This newly designed Volvo car in Sweden, funded by the Chinese company, is at its best.

I love the all new look. The car looks fast and runs extremely fast. Once, I got onto the parkway, I slammed the gas pedal and didn't let go until 90mph. When pushed to the limit, the engine noise intrudes into the opulent cabin interior. The S90 engine works harder than the Mercedes-Benz E-class V6 engine. Still, It was pleasant driving experience overall.

The S90 T6 that I drove is the top of the line model, the inscription with 19" 10 spoke wheel. It has everything. You name it. The car will find an empty spot and park it for you any way you like, head first, tail first, parallel parking, and more. You tell your car that you are cold, it will automatically turn on the heater or adjust 4 degrees higher from the current temperature. I thought we have our spouses for that! Hon, I am cold! The autonomous driving worked flawlessly. I was impressed and want one if it didn't cost $60,000.

One major disappointment, I didn't like the Nappa leather perforated seat. The cushion was too hard for my taste. I would prefer their nonperforated leather seat. Maybe I couldn't find the perfect setting since it had too many adjustable motors. Also, I didn't like the large seam in between 2 tone color leather steering. Otherwise, the car is perfect for me minus $40,000 & supercharger. I will put the S90 T5 on my wish list. :-)

As always, thank you.
