1990 T inside air filter??? 700 1990

Possibly ignorant question. Even with the fan turned to highest setting, it seems like I do not get the volume of air I'd expect.

Is there an inside air filter that might need changing? Does the heater take air from the outside exclusively? Where is that intake...mebeee it's clogged.
