M46 OD Solenoid removal 200 1980

I used the iPd special tool to no avail. I cannot get the solenoid free. I am worried about rounding off the nut if I use too much force. Any tips out there? I have an solenoid seal kit from Duane Hoberg that I plan on using. Otherwise I will just have to get a new solenoid and trash the one I presently have to remove it.
