Oil in air intake hose 200 1982

I have a 240 that has a hard start problem when cold. I have been looking at everything possible and I have found that there is a fair amount of oil in the large plastic ribbed hose that connects the air cleaner box and the Air/Fuel control unit. Can anyone help in figuring where this oil is comming from?
