From reading some other posts, it appears I may have used the wrong type brake fluid in my son's 240. I used the same DOT 3 fluid I use in my Toyota. It appears I should have used DOT 4. Is this right??
What do I need to do now?? What are the negative consequences of this? Could it be a rapid, catastrophic failure, or more of a slow, insidious kind. Should a good flush make everything all right. Is there any brake fluid good for all my cars. I hate having to keep all this straight. It's hard enough keeping the kids straight between brake fluid and power steering fluid.
