In-tank pump problem signs? 900 1993

I posted some time ago about squeling sound under car. I now think it is main pump squeling. It is less than a year old, so should be OK. Judging from replies to mine and other postings here, I tend to believe problem is poor "loading" pressure from in-tank pump. Was advised to check sound thru fill hole from in-tank pump. Did so. There is no buzzing sound from it. But I hear sound from fluid pouring when ign is turned off. Fuses 1 and 11 are OK.

My question is: should I interprete this as in-tank pump is not working? Thatīs my inclination. But it could also be "riser" tube if there is one.

Second question: Is there a rubber/plastic tubing from "riser" tube in this models tank? Is that tube broken, as judged from sound in filler hole? Or is that tube metal, and there is some kind of seal that is failing?

Third question: Where do I access tank in this 945 wagon, and is this a difficult repair? Which parts should I get in advance? If first repair fails, is there a risk I might not be able to put things together and drive to Volvo for more parts? (This is my daily driver).

Many thanks in advance
