I don't know the actual names for these parts but here goes!

On the outside, between the bonnet and the windshield,... the wipers.

So far so good.

The stem that goes inside the passenger compartment and that holds the wiper arm on the outside... well on the passenger side, the syem looks like it's off center, and that puts preasure on the rubber bushing that prevents moisture from seeping in and with time, the bushing gets destroyed.

Should'nt the stem be dead on center? Why is't it and how do I reset it to it's right position?
