I am looking at a 1988 745ti, auto, 159K miles. Its in pretty good shape considering the miles. My mechanic told me it needs about 1000 in work before it will pass inspection. It needs trans mount, steering rack bushins and bots, balljoints, exhaust, rear output bushing and hi beams. There is one small rust spot on the rear pillar and one small dent in the front fender with the usual dings. Lether is cracked but not torn and all amenities work fine except for the antennae, needs a new mast and probably the motor. Comments, questions? I am looking forwd to owning one of these solid whoosh wagons! TIA
