Stumbling - Coil Pack 900 1997

Have been experiencing occasional stumbling. Check engine finally came on, code indicated misfire in Cyl #2. On inspection, the shop says the packs on #2 and #6 are discolored, and replacement is indicated. Shop says failure of this item is rather common in the 60K-80K mileage range. Car has 80K miles.

I don't recall seeing this particular issue discussed. Does this sound right?
