After about 7 years of waiting to buy one, I finally bought a 240 Wagon. It is an '86 w/only 114k, leather and all that good stuff. I do have a few issues to take care of before I can feel at ease with my new toy and would much appreciate any recommendations from the board:

1. Somewhat slow at acceleration. (no hesitation)

2. A few rattles. (mostly in rear area)

3. Leaking rear windows (evidence of some rust present).

Any help would go a long way for this Volvo amateur.
