reset service light button 200 93

I have a Bently 240 Manual and it proports to locate the reset switch on 93 240 station wagon. I took this to a reputable garage that works Volvo's. They took the dashboard out in order to reset the switch. The manual shows the location of the switch; however, we have never been able to reset it, unless we use the dash emoval techinique. Can someone enlighten me of this task, Apparently the car company doesn't want the owner to proform his own maintenance.... or hey expect hime to have a PHD from Washington DC.
