Rear Window Removal 200 85

Greetings all,

During a recent storm, a limb off a pecan tree fell through the rear window (yep, the big one) on a friend's '85 244. Unfortunately, his car is insured for liability only. Fortunately, I just bought another 85 244 for parts, and have offered him the rear window.

How tough will it be to get the undamaged window out of the parts car (preferably in one, undamaged piece)? He's planning to have it professionally installed, but is the removal also best left to the pro's?

Any tips, BTDTs, advice (sage or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated.
