What's a Regina Car?

I have 93 945 non turbo and I went to buy a fuel pump regulator for it and the parts guys asks " Is it a Regina Car?" "How do I tell?" says I. "Look at the ignition coil, if it is square it's a Regina." Well, my ignition coil is this square looking box on the driver's side shock tower so that's what I tell him and he says congratulations you've got a Regina car. They're rare. And now for the moral of this story: the FPR is whole lot more expensive than it is for the 91 945 Turbo I have. Can anyone enlighten me here?

As always...thanks in advance.
