Oil pooling in the intake hose on NA? 700 1988

Hey,

I guess everyone now realises that i am tackling every problem at once with my volvo! I get a fair amount of oil in my intake hose, 200,000k's, doesn't use enough oil between changes to require more to be added, but i get a "pool" of oil in my ribbed intake hose (Well, it doesn't really pool, only due to the fact the hose has been worn through slightly on the bottom by the alternator wiring!). I can't work out how the hell the oil gets into there, my oil doesn't smell of gas, the car doesn't blow any smoke. Manual trans, if that makes any diff. Is there any reason i should worry about? Should i even bother doing anything about it?

Thanks in advance alL!
