At 200,000k's should i be worried about my oil pump? How to test? 700 1988

Hello,

I guess the post subject says it all. It is an NA 740, it has nearly original everything in the engine bay (except for wear items that i have replaced), Oil pressure seems okay (it flicks a fair bit of oil out of oil filler cap if you open it at idle, and there is definately pressure in there, oil "smoke", as such, blows out, so i'd say there was pressure, do i have to get a proper gauge and mount it, or what? Does the turbo model have a pressure gauge on the dash? Could it be installed in an NA version? (Is it an electronic one? I had an older car, and it had a hose running under the dash....i never liked getting oil on my pants!!) Should i really be worried? The car has been driven pretty easy it's entire life (i give it a bit of stick, every now and again!)
