Climate Control with a mind of it's own 700 1990

Gang,

It seems I've seen this post before, but I can't remember where. When I turn on the AC or heater, the air comes out of the vents for awhile, then stops coming out, but you can still hear the fan blowing, then it starts blowing out of the vents again. I swear I'm not stoned. Any ideas?
