oil leak 200 1990

Hello,

I have got an oil leak ... I think. I was looking at the transmission support crosmember. There are 2 bolts at each end of the cross member. However at one end of this tranmission cross member , right around the bolts there is oil. The other side of the transmission crossmember is nice and dry.

I also notice that the transmission pan appears to have oil on it's surface too. I never removed this pan, as I have had problems undoing that dipstick collar tube that bolts to the pan. But if the gasket on the pan was bad, I can't explain why I would get oil on one end of the transmission crossmember bolts.

Any ideas ?
