Considering 960 purchase: help!! 900 1996

A friend of mine is looking at a 96 960 wagon with 52K. I own a 960 850 and know little or nothing about the 900 series. Can I please have some advice about what we should be looking for in terms of problem areas? Does that evap suck just like in my 850? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
