Temp/fuel guage problems 200 1980

The temp guage reads low and the fuel guage falls rapidly as well. Filledf it up this morning just above R mark and only put in 38 litres.

Is there a problem with the circuit board? My '77 had the same problem Except that the temp read high and the fuel guage went through the roof after a fill up.
