Had the 240 in for some service today, and had the clutch fan replaced. Since I was in a hurry, I just told the guy to go ahead and do it. I had no idea when I got the car back it would feel so damn powerless. Would this be the cause? The car has NO low end power now at all. I'm sure the emmissions are in better shape than they were before, but now I've got to run the engine at about 3K rpm just so a K car doesn't decide to do circles around me while in reverse. I've had the car for quite awhile now and NEVER has it felt like this. I've seen a few stories of people installing electric fans, it seems like I just flushed a bunch of $$ down the dumper. The car never had any problems with overheating at all before, should I yank this thing off? How can something like a fan effect horsepower??
