Winter mode dosen't know it's seasons 900 1995

Winter Mode engages itself and cuts the power down, shift indicator lights

flash back and forth until finally it goes back into normal operation. Pressing any of the butons has no effect. Same thing happened last year and dealer replaced the switch, already puking again. Anyway to bypass this

Winter Mode by pulling a fuse or wiring around it? Thanks, Clif
